Bethel Aged Care is a seventy-five bed residential facility, located in the leafy Newcastle suburb of Waratah.
Bethel operates out of a stunning, three story heritage building that was erected by the Dominican Sisters in 1886 as a teaching school for deaf children.
Since acquiring the site in 2004, Empowered Living Support Services has undertaken significant refurbishments resulting in the comfortable, welcoming and innovative residential aged care facility that Bethel is today – all whilst beautifully preserving the heritage significance of the building.
