Clarence Village Aged Care Residential Facility “Dougherty Villa” provides 24 hour care, laundry services, meals prepared and cooked on site, cleaning services and wide range of activities. We have a wonderful team of staff who help us provide quality services in a homelike environment.
Our Villa has 54 single rooms with ensuites, each room is furnished with a bed, bedside table, chair, kitchenette, built in robes and external patio. Residents may furnish their room with other small items of furniture and personal effects. We have 4 sets of interconnecting rooms for partners, 2 respite rooms for short term stays and a secure wing for specific care needs ie Dementia.
We continue to provide a quality service and that is reinforced at accreditation times where we maintain the highest rating for our type of facility. This also is the case with the food safety audit which is conducted annually.
The residents committee continues to provide valuable information which enables us to meet the needs of residents and respond to changes in a timely manner. We encourage feedback from all stakeholders to help us identify areas for improvement through our ’good ideas’ forms and survey questions for our residents relatives and staff. We have a reasonable waiting list but we try to accommodate residents on a needs basis.
